The Department of Commerce, Government Arts and Science College, Kadaladi was started in the year 2013. Kadaladi area is socially and educationally backward area. There are three faculty members wholeheartedly involved and dedicated for the cause of academic and holistic empowerment of the students and development of the college. Our team encourages the students to read the text along with the context. We teach them to look beyond the text and connect literature with life. This gives an opportunity for the students to learn the language through literature. The academic performance of the students is assessed continuously during the study period by tests, seminars, group discussions, assignments and other academic exercises, in addition to end-semester examinations. Our students have involved in NSS/YRC, Sports and other social service activities. The Department started flourishing it’s academic achievements by producing Entrepreneurs, Army officers, Police officers, Government employees and Business managers. In future, our department will develop into PG and Research Department.
